The English Language Center (ELC) provides intensive language instruction which aims to prepare students to continue their academic studies at Koç University, where the medium of instruction is English. With 50 faculty members, staff and 800 students enrolled each year, ELC plays a pivotal role in transitioning students from high school to university life. ELC offers a challenging program to ensure that students have a good command of written and spoken English upon graduation.

Minimum Requirements

At least a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Linguistics, Language and Literature, Comparative Literature, English Language Teaching, Translation, and fields related to English language studies and teaching, and minimum two years of full-time relevant teaching experience.
